The ones that grate on my ears are “I brought a new dress” – no, you BOUGHT a new dress (as in paid for it) and you BROUGHT it (as in you bring it ) along with the other items of clothing you happen to be wearing.

Oh gods, I am one of those terrible people that writes Aspergers correctly, but pronounces it “Asbergers”. Working very hard on correcting that problem now. Damn my inability to properly hear sounds in words, let alone correlate what letters make what sounds in the written form. You gotta wonder how I ever made it through school, let alone university.
I do know what Aspergers means. Does that earn me a brownie point?

I’ve never heard Aspergers pronouced incorrectly, but my dad says “PhiladelTHIA” instead of “Philadelphia” and I dated a guy who said “fruniture” instead of “furniture”…

Oh!Oh! And George Bush says, “Nucular” instead of “Nuclear”…and you’d think SOMEONE would correct HIM!!!
